She was a soulful little girl with things wrapped around her head
She’s sitting in a white room filled with snow in her bed
And when she got too cold she blanketed herself
With all these thoughts, deep down she knew they wouldn’t help
But with no strength to get up she could only wish that
Her peeling skin and untouched mind weren’t truly filled with sin
As her vision went dark, a glowing filled her eyes
With warmth she was received by another sunrise
She wished she didn’t feel so hopeful all at once cause
Hope is so demanding, for a tiny little hunch
Yet she floated from her bed with energy anew and
Like a kite the wind swept her up and poured her down again
When she rained the desert
Drank her up
Like she was a miracle and not another stroke of luck but by
Now she couldn’t care about how the world felt
So she looked with sadness to the sky, at Orion’s Belt
And in these final moments, she reflected to the clock
There weren’t many constants in this life but the sky couldn’t talk
As the words escaped her throat a glaring light made its escape and
there in the sky, brighter than bright,
Did you explode
